His Attack on Qatar Was Not Just a Mistake—It Was a Strategic and Moral Collapse

A Strike That Shook the Region

When Israeli warplanes launched missiles at a site in Doha—flying directly over the American military base at Al-Udeid—many observers were stunned. The attack targeted a U.S. regional ally, right beside the largest American military installation in the Middle East. It didn’t just undermine Washington’s credibility; it failed so completely that even Netanyahu couldn’t stage one of his usual victory parades.

Some tried to frame the strike as a calculated maneuver. Others called it a strategic message. But the truth is simpler: it was a foolish act, carried out by one of the most recklessly incompetent leaders alive.

Netanyahu: Lobbyist First, Prime Minister Second

Netanyahu has long behaved not as a Prime Minister elected to serve his people, but as if appointed by the Zionist lobby to execute its agenda within Israel. His frequent, opaque trips to the United States—often to meet unnamed “powerful individuals”—are followed by a sudden lifting of political pressure, allowing him to act with impunity.

His meetings with Obama and Trump revealed everything. Obama’s body language screamed disdain. Trump’s expression was more theatrical: “Not my problem. Orders from the boss.” At times, he looked visibly irritated: “What now? Another batch of demands dumped on us by your master?”

Netanyahu once reveled in this role. A chorus of congressional representatives—elected with lobby support—would rehearse like a choir, turning Capitol Hill into a nauseating carnival in his honor. Some even tattled on colleagues who refused to attend his welcome ceremonies.

Inside Israel, he is widely despised. The opposition grows daily. He has betrayed allies, built a narrow faction loyal to U.S. interests, and sidelined powerful figures like Avigdor Lieberman, who represents Russian-speaking Jews and has consistently rejected Netanyahu’s extremist circle. That rejection, one imagines, was first uttered in Moscow.

Whenever Netanyahu faces political turbulence at home, he prefers to resolve his problems “somewhere in America.”

 Not Just Unwise—Possibly Unwell

To say Netanyahu lacks wisdom is an understatement. He displays clear signs of psychological instability. Reports assessing him as a head of state—and others simply documenting his mental condition—point to chronic disorders.

His first photo-op with Mahmoud Abbas was revealing. Psychologists noted his obsession with cameras. Like a devout believer in God’s omnipresence, Netanyahu has an unshakable faith in being watched. He is not a leader. He is a showman. And his “god,” seated somewhere in America, is always watching.

  Faithless, Yet Politically Religious

Netanyahu’s religious literacy is shockingly poor. According to Religion Facts, he was born into a secular family and never held a Bar Mitzvah. He calls himself a believer in God, but not a religious person. He follows no branch of Judaism and maintains political, not spiritual, ties with religious leaders.

Is he truly a Jewish extremist? Or is he simply exploiting religious extremism at the behest of his American patrons? His speeches are riddled with errors. He once described Purim as a celebration of Jewish victory over the Iranians—provoking outrage among rabbis. He routinely invents new interpretations of sacred texts to suit his political agenda.

The Qatar Strike: A Showcase of His Entire Character

Was the attack on Qatar just another Netanyahu blunder? Or did he truly mess things up this time?

His 12-day assault on Iran was widely seen as a humiliating failure—one that ironically boosted Iran’s international credibility. Many expected him to learn from that mistake. But his sudden strike on Qatar proved he doesn’t even understand what a mistake is.

With blind Western support—especially from the United States—Netanyahu might one day attack a U.S. state. His endless pleasure in doing whatever he pleases is the ultimate proof of everything stated above:

“The attack on Qatar was a scene that showcased the full spectrum of his traits: he is a fool, he understands nothing of politics, and throughout his rule, he has relied on the backing of powerful American patrons who hand him blank checks for whatever he desires. He has only one goal: to cling to power as Israel’s Prime Minister—even if it means trampling Israel’s own interests.”

 Final Reflection

This is not just about Netanyahu. It is about the machinery that enables him. It is about the silence that surrounds him. And most of all, it is about the people—those in Gaza, in Doha, in Tel Aviv—who pay the price for his delusions.
